The Bernard/Ebb Songwriting Awards honors the region's best songwriters from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. The grand prize winners receives $10,000 and 25 hours of free recording studio time, and the youth winner receivers $2,500.

The fifth annual competition featured a live concert performed by the finalists on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 7:30pm at Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club in downtown Bethesda.
